We are so excited to welcome our learners back tomorrow and jump right back into a week full of learning, connection, and community. As we return, we are also proud to recognize two important initiatives this week. Be sure to join us by participating in our dress-up days: 🧦 Monday, March 23 – World Down Syndrome Day We’re celebrating by wearing silly or mismatched socks! This is a fun way to honor and bring awareness to the beauty of differences and inclusion. Don’t forget to send your learner in their most creative socks! 🧢 Tuesday, March 24 – Diabetes Alert Week We are “Putting a Cap on Diabetes” by allowing learners to wear a cap of their choice. Join us as we raise awareness and support this important cause! Tomorrow is the day for our first-ever Parent Ed Camp, and we are so excited to host you! Below is some helpful housekeeping information for the event:
Parking will be available in the front parking lot or the side parking lot. The food truck will be set up in the carpool lane, so please avoid parking in that area. There will be signs posted to help guide you upon arrival.
We will have notepads and pens available for you to use during the sessions to take notes.
For families utilizing childcare, check-in will take place from 11:00–11:15 AM in the gym. All children must be signed in and out by their guardian.
When you arrive, our school secretary will greet you at the door and provide you with your session schedule, session locations, a notepad, and a pen.
Light refreshments will be available upon entry, and children participating in childcare will also receive a snack during their time in the gym and playground.
A food truck will be on site and available throughout the event for anyone who would like to purchase food at their convenience.
At the end of the event, we will have a feedback QR code posted and available to scan. We encourage you to complete the survey as your input will help us continue to grow and improve Parent Ed Camp in the future.
