🇺🇸✨ After an AMAZING adventure with Eleanor exploring national parks, wildlife, and logging thousands of miles on the road, Flat Patriot headed back to the airport because — you guessed it — another adventure was calling! ✈️🧳💙 This time, Flat Patriot traveled to Kansas to visit Mrs. Harris for some prairie fun and bison spotting! 🌾🦬☀️ While there, Flat Patriot explored Leavenworth, checking out the colorful painted bison sculptures around town before heading out on a road trip to the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve to see some real bison in their natural habitat! 🦬🌄✨ From painted bison to the real thing, Flat Patriot is learning something new and making unforgettable memories everywhere he goes! 🇺🇸✨ After walking 19,000 steps with Charlie in Nashville, Flat Patriot decided he had definitely earned a day of rest! 😴👟💙 Well… that was the plan until he got a call from Eleanor Williams saying, “Head to the airport — it’s time for a new adventure!” ✈️👀 Needless to say, Flat Patriot has learned that keeping a suitcase packed and ready to go is an absolute MUST! 🧳😂 This time, Flat Patriot headed to North Dakota to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park, where the adventure was just getting started! 🏔️🌾 After that, he traveled to South Dakota to explore Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Badlands National Park during an incredible 4,300-mile road trip! 🚗✨ Along the way, Flat Patriot got to experience geology concepts we don’t often see here in Alabama and spotted countless wildlife, including bison, prairie dogs, wild horses, coyotes, turkey, mule deer, pronghorns, bighorn sheep, eagles, wild rabbits, chipmunks, and wild burros! 🦬🦅🐴🌄 From pageants and waterparks to national parks and wildlife adventures, Flat Patriot is learning something new everywhere he goes! As our district continues to strengthen opportunities for students and staff, we are pleased to share several leadership and staffing transitions resulting from the realignment of roles and responsibilities across the district. These changes include current team members taking on new assignments and responsibilities, along with a few new individuals joining our team to support existing district priorities. 🇺🇸✨ After singing his heart out at the concert, Flat Patriot heard that some boys were playing ball in a tournament… and if there’s one thing Flat Patriot loves, it’s baseball! ⚾☀️🇺🇸 Without missing a beat, Flat Patriot headed to the ball field ready to play. He was a little sad to find out he couldn’t join the lineup, but he quickly forgot all about it when he spotted some familiar PRES faces — C2 learners Tucker Gardner, Jackson Stewart, and Owen Patterson! 💙🧢 Flat Patriot was thrilled to cheer on their Montgomery American Pre-Minors Mixed All-Star Team, who went undefeated and won their State Tournament this weekend! 🏆🎉⚾ What an incredible accomplishment! 🇺🇸✨ After sandy beaches, salty air, and sunshine in Orange Beach, Flat Patriot decided it was time to head back home to Pike Road, Alabama for a quick stop to catch up with CK’s Mrs. McDevitt! 🏡☀️💙 While back in town, Mrs. McDevitt shared pictures from last year when she taught a group of learners how to play Mahjong! 🀄 Flat Patriot quickly learned that Mahjong is a game of pattern recognition, strategic thinking, sequencing, and sorting by patterns — all while having fun and stretching your brain! 🧠✨ Of course, Flat Patriot couldn’t leave without playing a game himself! 🇺🇸✨ While enjoying Vacation Bible School with Gus, Flat Patriot got a text from David and Daniel telling him to head to the airport because it was time for another BIG adventure… back in the air he goes! ✈️🌍💙 This time, Flat Patriot traveled all the way to Korea to spend summer vacation with David , Daniel, and family! 🇰🇷☀️ After landing, he was greeted with horseback riding, beach days, and so many fun experiences in nature. 🐎🏖️🌿 Flat Patriot also learned that David and Daniel spend every summer in Korea visiting family and traveling to different parts of the country.
