By now, Flat Patriot knew that an invitation from Daniel and David meant one thing—another unforgettable adventure was about to begin! He traded his berry basket for a sun hat, zipped up his suitcase, and headed to Beijing, China with Daniel, David, their grandmother, and their parents. ❤️🌏
Together, they visited the incredible Great Wall of China, where Flat Patriot proudly took in the breathtaking views and wondered just how many steps he had climbed! 🧱🥾 They also explored the beautiful Forbidden City, learning more about China’s rich history and culture. 🏯✨
The adventure didn’t stop there! Flat Patriot rode high above the scenery in a cable car and later relaxed during a peaceful boat ride on the river. 🚠🚤
The weather was very hot, and there were lots of people everywhere they went, but that didn’t slow this adventurous crew down! Every stop brought something new to see, learn, and remember.
This amazing trip to Beijing was truly unforgettable—one that Daniel, David, their family, and Flat Patriot will always treasure. 💙

🇧🇷➡️🇩🇪 Flat Patriot was still talking about waterfalls, blue macaws, and playful monkeys in Brazil when a familiar name popped up on his travel radar—Lyla Giaquinto! 📲✈️ Lyla, who is half German, sent him a message from Nürnberg that said: “Flat Patriot, it’s time to explore a little piece of my family’s culture!” 💛❤️🖤 Flat Patriot packed away his hiking boots from Brazil, grabbed an empty berry basket, and hopped on a flight to Germany! 🌍🧳 Once he arrived in Nürnberg, Lyla introduced him to the quieter, storybook side of summer. Together, they took peaceful walks through the forest, collecting wild raspberries and blueberries along the way. 🌲🫐🍓 Flat Patriot may have eaten almost as many berries as he placed in the basket—but we’ll let Lyla confirm that! 😋 Their outdoor adventure became even more incredible when they climbed across rocks that are 200 million years old! 🪨😲 Flat Patriot could hardly believe he was standing on something that had been around long before backpacks, airplanes, schools, or even Patriots! Of course, no trip with Lyla would be complete without a little extra fun, so they also visited Playmobil FunPark in Germany! 🎠🏰✨ Flat Patriot loved exploring, playing, and letting his imagination lead the way through every exciting area of the park. All new and returning student registrations must be completed by 3:00 p.m. on July 31 to ensure students receive their class schedules before the first day of school on August 6. Students who complete registration after this date will not be guaranteed to have a schedule on the first day of school.
🇧🇷✈️ Flat Patriot was still taking in the bright lights and bustling streets of New York City when he heard the unmistakable rhythm of samba and the sound of adventure calling from South America! 💚💛🎶
Before he could even grab one last slice of New York pizza, Mrs. Costa sent him a message that simply said:

Well… Flat Patriot has never been one to ignore an invitation like that! He tucked his “I ❤️ NY” memories into his suitcase, grabbed his passport, and set off for Brazil! 🛫🇧🇷

Flat Patriot’s South American adventure began in the breathtaking mountains of Brasília, Brazil, where Mrs. Costa led him on an unforgettable journey through nature. Together, they hiked scenic trails that led to beautiful waterfalls cascading through the mountains. 🌿🥾💦
Along the way, Flat Patriot was amazed to spot vibrant blue macaws soaring overhead and playful sagui monkeys swinging through the trees! 🦜🐒 Every twist and turn on the trail brought another incredible surprise.
By the end of the adventure, Flat Patriot couldn’t stop smiling. He was grateful for every amazing experience he had in South America and every family that had welcomed him along the way. From bustling cities and towering mountains to sparkling beaches, historic landmarks, and championship celebrations, his suitcase was full—but his heart was even fuller. 💙🌎
As Flat Patriot looked ahead, he couldn’t help but get excited. The 2026–27 school year is just around the corner, and while summer adventures may be winding down, he knows the best adventure of all is returning home to Pike Road Elementary to see all of his Patriot friends again! ❤️💙

With plenty of determination, teamwork, and maybe just a little Flat Patriot magic, Lucy Claire Castillo and her team accomplished something incredible—they won the USSSA Softball National Championship in Orange Beach this week! 🏆🥎🎉
Flat Patriot couldn’t have been more excited to celebrate with the champions! From cheering in the stands to celebrating the big victory, this was an adventure filled with hard work, perseverance, and unforgettable memories.

From peaceful walks along the emerald shoreline and shopping at local favorites to celebrating the Fourth of July surrounded by family, laughter, and beautiful sunsets, this trip was the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. 🇺🇸🎆🌅
And just when Flat Patriot thought the trip couldn’t get any sweeter, the girls met an older set of twin sisters! 👯♀️✨ Bailee and Bella loved making new friends, and Flat Patriot was reminded that some of the best vacation memories come from the unexpected people you meet along the way.

📣✈️ Flat Patriot had just announced he was ready to share more of his summer adventures when his phone buzzed again! This time, it was a message from his travel buddies, Daniel and David Kim:
“Flat Patriot, don’t unpack your suitcase just yet… we’re headed to Japan!” 🇯🇵🎣🌊
Flat Patriot smiled, zipped his suitcase right back up, and hopped on the next flight for another unforgettable adventure!
This time, the journey led him to Tsushima Island, Japan, where Daniel and David introduced him to one of their favorite summer traditions—fishing! 🎣 Flat Patriot had a blast casting a line into the water, and the best part was enjoying the delicious fish they caught themselves. Talk about the freshest meal ever! 🍽️🐟
When they weren’t fishing, Flat Patriot loved spending time on the beach, digging in the sand, splashing by the shoreline, and soaking in the beautiful coastal views. 🏖️☀️ There was no shortage of smiles, laughter, and memories as Daniel, David, and Flat Patriot explored everything Tsushima Island had to offer.
After all the countries, mountains, beaches, baseball games, workouts, and adventures he’s experienced this summer, Flat Patriot is discovering that the best souvenirs aren’t things you pack in a suitcase—they’re the memories you make with family and friends. 💙🌎
