Well, Patriots… it’s time for this little traveler to head home. ❤️💙🐾 What an AMAZING summer we’ve had together! I traveled near and far, explored new places, made unforgettable memories, and even saw parts of the world I never imagined—all because of YOU! Thank you to every Patriot family who packed me in a suitcase, tucked me in a backpack, or took me along for the adventure. Every photo and every memory made this summer extra special. Now that school is about to begin, it’s time for all of my Patriots to get ready for an incredible year of learning, growing, and making new memories at Pike Road Elementary! 🦞➡️⛰️ Flat Patriot had just watched the very first sunrise in the United States with Owen and Luke McTear in beautiful Lubec, Maine. As he carefully tucked a tiny lobster souvenir into his suitcase, he smiled, knowing he had just one more week of summer adventures before it would be time to head back to Pike Road Elementary. ❤️💙 Just then… 📲 Ding! A new message popped up from Abigail Oh, who is excited to be moving up to fourth grade this school year! “Flat Patriot, come make one more mountain memory with me in Tennessee!” 🌄🥾 Flat Patriot didn’t need any convincing! He zipped up his trusty suitcase, laced up his hiking boots, and headed to the Great Smoky Mountains for another unforgettable adventure. Abigail and Flat Patriot began their journey by hiking to the summit of Clingmans Dome, the highest peak in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Step after step, they climbed higher and higher until they reached the top, where breathtaking mountain views stretched as far as Flat Patriot could see. He decided the climb was absolutely worth every step! ⛰️💙 But the biggest surprise came on the drive back down the mountain… 🐻👀 Out of nowhere, Abigail and Flat Patriot were thrilled to spot a mother bear and her cubs! Everyone stayed safely in the car while watching this incredible family make their way through the Smokies. Flat Patriot whispered, “Now that’s a once-in-a-lifetime mountain memory!” After an adventurous day of hiking and wildlife watching, it was time to cool off! 💦☀️ The pair traded hiking boots for swimsuits and spent the rest of the trip having an absolute blast at the water park. Flat Patriot raced down the slides, splashed through the water, and decided it was the perfect way to end a mountain adventure. As they packed up to head home, Flat Patriot realized that this summer had taken him from sandy beaches and championship softball fields to historic landmarks, magical castles, peaceful forests, and now the towering peaks of the Smoky Mountains. 🥎➡️🦞 Flat Patriot had just finished cheering on our incredible Dixie Softball World Series team when he glanced at his calendar and realized something… Summer was flying by! ☀️📅 With just one more week of adventures before it’s time to head back to Pike Road Elementary, Flat Patriot was determined to make every mile count. Right on cue… 📲 Ding! A message appeared from Owen and Luke McTear: “Flat Patriot, we’ve got one more bucket-list adventure for you…meet us in Maine!” 🌲✈️ Flat Patriot smiled, zipped up his trusty suitcase once again, and headed to the northeastern corner of the United States for an unforgettable adventure! Owen and Luke took Flat Patriot all the way to Lubec, Maine—the easternmost point in the United States, where the sun rises first in the country! 🌅🇺🇸 As the first rays of morning light stretched across the coast, Flat Patriot couldn’t believe he was standing in the very first place in America to welcome a brand-new day. He decided that was a pretty special way to start one of his final summer adventures. 💙 Of course, no trip to Lubec would be complete without a visit to the iconic West Quoddy Head Lighthouse. Standing proudly beside the famous red-and-white striped lighthouse, Flat Patriot couldn’t stop smiling for pictures. He even joked that the lighthouse’s bright red stripes looked like they were dressed in Patriot colors just for him! ❤️🤍 Then came a first… 🦞 Flat Patriot tried lobster! After traveling across beaches, mountains, caves, castles, softball fields, and countries around the world, he finally checked another item off his travel bucket list. Owen and Luke assured him that you can’t visit Maine without trying fresh lobster, and Flat Patriot happily agreed it was worth the adventure! As they explored the rocky coastline together, Flat Patriot realized that every adventure this summer had taught him something new—but the greatest lesson of all was discovering how many amazing places Patriot families call their favorite memories. As the sun began to set over the Maine coast, Flat Patriot gently closed his suitcase and smiled. One more week. This time, the message came from three Patriot softball stars: “Flat Patriot, grab your glove! We’re headed to the Dixie Softball World Series in Winnabow, North Carolina!” 🥎💙 Without missing a beat, Flat Patriot tossed his beach towel into his suitcase, laced up his sneakers, and hit the road with Kathryn Gardner, Ellie Galloway, and Livie Blake Bennett for one incredible championship adventure! 🚗🌎 From the moment they arrived in Winnabow, North Carolina, Flat Patriot could tell this wasn’t just another trip—it was the result of countless hours of hard work, determination, practices, and believing in one another. These girls had earned their spot on one of softball’s biggest stages, and Flat Patriot couldn’t have been prouder to cheer them on. ❤️💙 The tournament began with 12 outstanding teams representing Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida, all chasing the same dream. Every inning was filled with excitement, incredible plays, and fierce competition. 🥎🔥 Flat Patriot cheered loudly as Kathryn, Ellie, Livie, and their teammates battled their way through the tournament. They fought through long days, tough opponents, and even a rain delay that had everyone anxiously waiting to get back on the field. 🌧️⏳ When play finally resumed, they didn’t miss a beat! They kept playing with heart, determination, and teamwork, finishing pool play with an impressive 3-1 record and advancing to the Final Four! 🎉🙌 But they weren’t finished yet. Flat Patriot watched with excitement as they continued their incredible run, earning another hard-fought victory to improve to 4-1, becoming one of the final two teams remaining in the entire Dixie Softball World Series! 🏆💙 The championship game was everything a championship should be—filled with grit, hustle, incredible defense, clutch hits, and teammates refusing to give up on one another. Flat Patriot cheered until he was almost hoarse, believing in every pitch and every swing. Although the championship game didn’t end the way they had hoped, these amazing young ladies accomplished something truly special. They finished the Dixie Softball World Series as Runner-Up with an outstanding 4-2 record! 🥈🥎 As Flat Patriot helped pack up the equipment after the final game, he looked at Kathryn, Ellie, Livie, and their teammates with the biggest smile. “You know,” he said, “Trophies are wonderful…but the friendships you’ve built, the memories you’ve made, and the way you represented your families, your teammates, and Alabama with class and determination—that’s something no scoreboard can ever measure.” ❤️ Flat Patriot couldn’t have been prouder of the way they competed from the very first pitch to the very last out. They played with heart, represented their community beautifully, and proved that champions aren’t only defined by the final score—they’re defined by the effort they give every single day. 🚗➡️🏖️ Flat Patriot had barely finished his Kentucky road trip with Charles Ryan when he reached for his suitcase to unpack. 📲 Ding! Another invitation had already arrived! This time, it was from Wiley Agnew: “Flat Patriot, don’t put that suitcase away just yet! We’ve got room for one more on our Annual Agnew Beach Trip!” 🌊☀️🧳 Flat Patriot smiled, grabbed his sunglasses, and hopped in for another unforgettable summer adventure! This wasn’t just any beach trip—it was the Annual Agnew Beach Trip, where more than 30 family members came together to laugh, make memories, and enjoy time with one another. ❤️🏖️ Flat Patriot quickly learned that when the Agnew family gets together, there’s never a dull moment! From building sandcastles and splashing in the waves to sharing meals, telling stories, and soaking up the sunshine, every day was filled with joy and family traditions. 🌴🌊☀️ But one of Flat Patriot’s favorite parts of the trip wasn’t just the beach… It was watching Wiley proudly introduce everyone to his favorite little girl, Ada James. 💙 Wiley could hardly believe that Ada James is officially old enough to become a Pike Road Patriot! Flat Patriot smiled as he watched Wiley beam with excitement, knowing he gets the very special job of being her big brother this school year. There is no doubt he’ll be the first one cheering her on as she begins her own Patriot adventure. ❤️🤍💙 Before heading home, the fun wasn’t over yet! The Agnew family made one more stop at Dothan’s Splash Pad, where Flat Patriot cooled off with one last splash before saying goodbye to another incredible summer memory. 💦😄 As the car pulled back into the driveway, Flat Patriot looked around at the happy faces and realized that while he’s visited castles, caves, mountains, beaches, and countries all around the world, some of his favorite adventures are the ones filled with generations of family making memories together. This time, the message came from Charles Ryan Adams in C3: “Flat Patriot, grab your suitcase! We’re hitting the road for a Kentucky adventure!” 🚗🗺️ Flat Patriot couldn’t resist. He buckled up, packed his sense of adventure, and set off on an unforgettable road trip across the beautiful Bluegrass State! 🌄✨ Their first stop was the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, where Charles Ryan and Flat Patriot watched baseball bats come to life and imagined stepping up to home plate with the pros. Flat Patriot even practiced his best batting stance…although he’s pretty sure he still needs a little work! ⚾🏟️😄 Next, they journeyed deep underground to Mammoth Cave National Park, the world’s longest known cave system. As they explored beneath the earth, Flat Patriot couldn’t believe the towering stalactites and stalagmites that had been slowly forming for thousands of years. 🦇🪨 The adventure continued through history with a visit to Abraham Lincoln’s Birthplace, where Flat Patriot learned about the humble beginnings of one of our nation’s greatest presidents. 🇺🇸🌳 He couldn’t help but wonder how many dreams begin in small places before growing into something extraordinary. Just when Flat Patriot thought the trip couldn’t get any cooler, Charles Ryan led him to Red River Gorge for an underground tour through an abandoned limestone mine. With flashlight in hand, Flat Patriot explored hidden tunnels, deciding they were equal parts fascinating…and just a tiny bit spooky! 🔦⛏️👀 Of course, no Kentucky adventure would be complete without horses! At the Kentucky Horse Park, Charles Ryan and Flat Patriot met magnificent racehorses and even saddled up for a horseback ride of their own. Flat Patriot may be small, but he sat tall in the saddle like a true Kentucky cowboy! 🐴💙 Their road trip also included a visit to the University of Kentucky, where Flat Patriot pictured himself cheering alongside thousands of Wildcat fans. 💙🏀 Then came one final stop at Big Bone Lick State Park, where Charles Ryan introduced Flat Patriot to a place where mastodons and woolly mammoths once roamed. Flat Patriot stood in amazement, realizing he was walking through a place that had been home to prehistoric giants! 🦣🌿 By the time they climbed back into the car, Flat Patriot had collected another handful of memories—and maybe a little Kentucky dirt on his shoes. He smiled as he looked out the window, realizing that some of the very best adventures aren’t found in one destination…they’re made mile by mile, with every stop bringing a new story to tell. 💙🚙 As they packed up the car and started the drive home, Flat Patriot reached for his suitcase, fully expecting to finally give it a break. 📲 Ding! He grabbed his mouse ears, zipped up his ever-ready suitcase, and was off to Walt Disney World for an adventure filled with magic, laughter, and unforgettable memories! ✈️🎉 Kennedy and Flat Patriot spent the week exploring Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, where every turn seemed to hold another surprise. We’re taking you to the Dominican Republic to visit our family!” ❤️🌴 Flat Patriot didn’t even hesitate. At this point, his suitcase practically packed itself! He grabbed his passport, buckled in for another flight, and soon found himself soaking up the sunshine in the beautiful Dominican Republic with 3rd grader Jacob and Kindergartener Isaac. One of the first stops on their adventure was spending precious time visiting family. Flat Patriot has learned that no matter where he travels in the world, the very best memories are always made with the people you love most. ❤️🏡 Next, Jacob and Isaac introduced Flat Patriot to one of the country’s most famous landmarks—the Monument in Santiago! Standing tall and overlooking the city, the monument reminded Flat Patriot that every destination has a unique story, rich history, and traditions worth celebrating. 🏛️🌎 After a day of exploring, it was time to slow things down at a beautiful resort, where the Corniel family enjoyed sunshine, laughter, and making unforgettable memories together. Whether they were relaxing by the water, enjoying delicious food, or simply taking in the breathtaking views, Flat Patriot couldn’t stop smiling. 🌊☀️🌴 By now, Flat Patriot has climbed ancient walls in China, wandered forests in Germany, relaxed on Alabama’s beaches, and now experienced the warmth, beauty, and hospitality of the Dominican Republic. 🇩🇪➡️🇨🇳 Flat Patriot had just finished collecting wild berries, climbing ancient rocks, and exploring Playmobil FunPark with Lyla in Germany when his passport started buzzing again! 📘✨ This time, Daniel and David Kim were back with another message: “Flat Patriot, don’t unpack yet… China is calling!” 🐼🏯✈️ By now, Flat Patriot knew that an invitation from Daniel and David meant one thing—another unforgettable adventure was about to begin! He traded his berry basket for a sun hat, zipped up his suitcase, and headed to Beijing, China with Daniel, David, their grandmother, and their parents. ❤️🌏 Together, they visited the incredible Great Wall of China, where Flat Patriot proudly took in the breathtaking views and wondered just how many steps he had climbed! 🧱🥾 They also explored the beautiful Forbidden City, learning more about China’s rich history and culture. 🏯✨ The adventure didn’t stop there! Flat Patriot rode high above the scenery in a cable car and later relaxed during a peaceful boat ride on the river. 🚠🚤 The weather was very hot, and there were lots of people everywhere they went, but that didn’t slow this adventurous crew down! Every stop brought something new to see, learn, and remember. 🇧🇷➡️🇩🇪 Flat Patriot was still talking about waterfalls, blue macaws, and playful monkeys in Brazil when a familiar name popped up on his travel radar—Lyla Giaquinto! 📲✈️ Lyla, who is half German, sent him a message from Nürnberg that said: “Flat Patriot, it’s time to explore a little piece of my family’s culture!” 💛❤️🖤 Flat Patriot packed away his hiking boots from Brazil, grabbed an empty berry basket, and hopped on a flight to Germany! 🌍🧳 Once he arrived in Nürnberg, Lyla introduced him to the quieter, storybook side of summer. Together, they took peaceful walks through the forest, collecting wild raspberries and blueberries along the way. 🌲🫐🍓 Flat Patriot may have eaten almost as many berries as he placed in the basket—but we’ll let Lyla confirm that! 😋 Their outdoor adventure became even more incredible when they climbed across rocks that are 200 million years old! 🪨😲 Flat Patriot could hardly believe he was standing on something that had been around long before backpacks, airplanes, schools, or even Patriots! Of course, no trip with Lyla would be complete without a little extra fun, so they also visited Playmobil FunPark in Germany! 🎠🏰✨ Flat Patriot loved exploring, playing, and letting his imagination lead the way through every exciting area of the park. From tropical trails in Brazil to ancient rocks, wild berries, and playful adventures in Germany, Flat Patriot is learning that every destination has a special story to tell—and this one was extra meaningful because Lyla got to share a part of her German heritage with him. 💙🌎 With the 2026–27 school year getting closer, Flat Patriot knows his summer suitcase will soon need to be unpacked… but for now, he still has a few more adventures to share! 👀✈️ 📸 Keep the adventures coming!
